Born in Barcelona to a Czech father and Catalan mother, Raquel Hladky is based in Berlin since 2005 where she Graduated in Fashion design at HTW. She also had previously studied Fashion at BAU school of design in Barcelona. Within both studies has specialized in pattern cutting, digital print design and Knitwear. Since early age interested in art, architecture, music and fashion, her collections reflect this interests and take direct inspiration from pop culture translating into colorful and practical streetwear classics with a twist. Inspired by the many collaborations between Art and Fashion, such as Salvador Dalí and Elsa Schiaparelli, the label style manifesto aims for the ennoblement of functional clothing with art. Every season a collection of prints it´s done in collaboration with a different artist, aspiring to become a platform for under the radar talents. Having learnt about the monstrous reality of the apparel industry, Raquel Hladky starts with a strong compromise to develop environmentally and socially conscious products: eco-friendly, cruelty and slave free. Based in Berlin and produced completely in Europe. All materials used are ecological and vegan. With the unisex oversize pieces aims to break the barriers between genders and introduce a more frenzy way of dressing to men.
